Beginner 101 Yoga series Spring semester starts April 18th, 2026!

Welcome to our Beginner 101 Yoga series!

New to yoga—or returning after time away?

This 6-week registered beginner series is designed to help you start your practice with confidence, clarity, and support with no experience required!

You’ll learn the foundations of yoga through simple, accessible movement, guided breathwork, and practical mindfulness tools—all in a welcoming, non-intimidating environment. Each week builds gently on the last, so you can develop strength, flexibility, and ease at your own pace.

This series also introduces you to our teaching team and their unique styles, helping you feel comfortable stepping into other classes after the series ends.

This series is for you if you:

  • Are completely new to yoga

  • Feel nervous or unsure about joining a regular class

  • Are returning to yoga after a break or injury

  • Want to learn proper alignment and fundamentals

  • Prefer a slower, supportive learning environment

By the end of the series, you’ll feel grounded, empowered, and ready to confidently attend yoga classes at YFG.

April 18 - May 30 (skipping 5/23)

Saturdays, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

$120 per student

I just finished taking the intro to yoga course (8 week course) and really enjoyed it! Darcy, the owner of Yoga For Good, is awesome, as well as the other instructors that led some of the lessons. We learned a LOT! I highly recommend this course if you are thinking about trying yoga but feel a little intimidated to just jump into a class. This intro class will give you a good foundation and a good feel for what yoga is all about. And a very nice studio as well!

Such a great community to be walking into! I didn’t even know about Yoga for Good until my son’s school sent out a flyer, and I’m so glad they did. It truly is a little hidden gem in Oxford. The environment is welcoming and supportive, especially for beginners. Highly recommend!
